Background
Born and raised on the great south side of Chicago, Illinois. Calvin
earned a Big XII scholarship in track and field out of high school.
Concluding his track career after about 3 years, he built a recording
studio. Months later, he recorded two solo projects, produced copies, and
sold them himself to pay tuition. Meanwhile he performed several shows,
made several headlines and graduated with an Industrial Engineering
degree. Not only was he also a devoted member of the National Society
of Black Engineers (NSBE), he served as chapter president. Now he
has brought his skills and experience to Nashville and is working as a
professional Industrial Engineer. As founder of Diamond District
Entertainment, Calvin is always looking for opportunities to serve and
improve on the conditions of his community and nation at large.
